Know Before You Go

Tips & Tricks

New Release

To ensure you are on the most recent version, please click on the link below or go to the app store and search GoodMaps (one word).

Preview

You must be within a GoodMaps location to access the navigation. However, you can “preview” the locations.

Close Other Apps

Just like all apps – closing other apps allows for a quicker data feed and less work for your battery.

Ensure Connectivity

GoodMaps works with connectivity – whether through Wi-Fi or cellular, you can access the live map once inside the venue.

Device Compatibility

GoodMaps works on 95% of smartphones. However, as we use a combination of LiDAR and Camera-Based Positioning, unfortunately, flip phones, PAYG phones, and older phones will not have access to our app capabilities.
